We are pleased to announce the release of push button voting for Dash budget proposals. You can now vote for budget proposals through the Node40 website.
What are Dash Budget Proposals?
A budget proposal is a request for funding of a project. If the proposal generates enough YES votes, it is paid by the network. The Dash network supports decentralized voting by masternodes. In other words, anyone who owns a masternode can vote on a proposal and affect the direction of Dash development. It is similar to owning voting stock shares in a corporation.
How Do I Vote?
If you are hosting your masternodes with Node40, simply log in and click the Budget Proposals link at the top of the page. Read the descriptions for the open proposals and click the Vote Yes or Vote No buttons. It is that simple.
If you are hosting your masternodes somewhere other than Node40, we will show you the command you can use to vote from your local wallet.
