NODE40, the leading data analytics and financial information platform for cryptocurrency, announces $4 million in funding for its Series Seed Round led by Card1Ventures, LLC.
Co-founded by engineers Perry Woodin, CEO, and Sean Ryan, CTO, NODE40 offers a unique cryptocurrency tax, accounting, and compliance solution that transforms complex transaction data into actionable information. NODE40’s focus on rich data and reporting addresses the gaps financial professionals must overcome to provide defensible guidance.
Card1Ventures, LLC is the family office of Gary Cardone, CEO, investor, and founder of Chargebacks911/FI911. In addition to funding NODE40, Cardone is actively facilitating strategic partnerships by lending his expertise from the financial services sector.
“Strong partnerships are key to success in this nascent industry,” said Cardone. “My experience in the payments space allows me to guide discussions about structuring relationships that are complimentary and essential for growth.”
“Sean Ryan and I have always been laser-focused on solving the hard problem of cryptocurrency transaction reporting,” said Woodin. “The operations expertise that Gary brings is essential for our next stage of growth.”
While continuing to focus on the needs of accounting firms, high-frequency traders, and financial firms, NODE40 plans to use the proceeds to further develop the product, add key hires to its engineering, business development functions, and expand into government services.
Prior investors in NODE40’s pre-seed round include Chain Reaction, Walnut Ventures, Hub Angels, Saratoga Angels, UnderDog Labs, as well as several others.
