NODE40 is a fast growing blockchain data analytics company catering to the needs of business and retail customers in the cryptocurrency industry with a focus on digital asset lifecycle tracking for thousands of tokens across wallets and exchanges.

NODE40 is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to take on the design, and assist in the development of software to manage our growing repositories of augmented blockchain data. Candidates must have experience designing scalable systems that run in the AWS cloud, identifying bottlenecks, and participating in problem resolution discussions. Core languages used at NODE40 are Java and JavaScript.

This is a remote position. Your ability to prioritize tasks and effectively communicate are critical to your success. We use common services including Slack, Google Apps, Jira, and AWS, as well as industry-specific tools built for working with various blockchains.

Core Responsibilities

  • Analysis of software designs and implementations to identify weaknesses across standard facets of software development such as security, monitoring/insight, alerting, scalability, and throughput.
  • Design, build, test, and maintain RESTful API’s and services across backend applications.
  • Assisting the development effort to improve upon and expand NODE40’s digital assets lifecycle tracking software, NODE40 Balance.

Professional Responsibilities

  • Write robust, maintainable, and clean code by adhering to established engineering standards, tooling, and processes. All code is peer reviewed for style and function.
  • Work with team members to iterate on customer needs.
  • Participate in code reviews and group discussions.
  • Assist with debugging production issues across backend services.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
  • Five years or more of professional software development experience (preferably Java).
  • Experience with Dropwizard, Docker, MySQL, Linux/MacOS
  • Experience with common AWS services such as ECS, CloudFormation, Lambda, S3, and others.
  • AWS Developer Certification

Overview

NODE40 is seeking a Software Engineer with experience developing cloud based applications. Core languages used at NODE40 are Java and JavaScript with secondary languages including Groovy and Go.

This is a remote position where your ability to prioritize tasks and effectively communicate are critical to your success. The team is small so you will be expected to wear several hats but you’ll have the support you want from colleagues and management. We use familiar services like Slack, Google Apps, Jira, Jenkins, and AWS, as well as industry specific tools built for working with various blockchains.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assisting the development effort to improve upon and expand NODE40’s blockchain accounting software, NODE40 Balance.
  • Write robust, maintainable, and clean code.
  • Collaborate with team members to iterate on customer needs.
  • Review code and participate in group discussions.
  • Debug production issues across services.
  • Adhere to established engineering standards, tooling, and processes.
  • Learn new technologies and stay up to date on industry best practices.
  • Design, build, test, and maintain REST API’s services and systems across NODE40.
  • Integrate with 3rd party API’s to read transaction data from crypto exchanges.
  • Build services and tools in support of extracting data from and interacting with different blockchains.

This is a remote position where your ability to prioritize tasks and effectively communicate are critical to your success. 

Our ideal candidate is: Proficient in English – both written and verbal and has an interest in helping build the foundation for NODE40’s long-term, successful customer relationships. The main goal of the Customer Success Account Manager is to lead the charge in getting accounts set up and started on the platform as fast as possible, monitoring their satisfaction as they grow, and bridging the gap between sales and customer support. A proactive approach to maintain and anticipate their needs, suggesting new and innovative ways for accounts to succeed with NODE40 is a must. Ensuring that each of your customers is engaged and satisfied with the platform is also of the utmost importance. 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with key accounts, providing proactive support and strategy to your accounts.
  • Proactively manage a variety of customer relationships from onboarding to going live, through renewal and the entire lifecycle in between including relevant expansion/upsell targets.
  • Become an expert in the value proposition of NODE40 Balance, educating customers on the platform, enabling them to utilize the full potential of the platform (and more!).
  • Work closely with Sales, Support, Development and Compliance to ensure an optimal customer experience.
  • Be an advocate for the customer’s needs, maintaining steady feedback loops into each key department. 
  • Drive sales and retention of your customers through increased product adoption and usage.
